Meet the host
Brian Clay is the creator and host of Jazzspirations. He is a 20-year veteran of the broadcast radio industry in the Top 10 Atlanta radio market. He has been on air-personality, music director and program director. Currently, a three-hour Jazzspirations show is syndicated and airs in Atlanta (WJZA 101.1fm), Chattanooga (WPTP 100.1fm) and Knoxville (WJBE, 99.7fm).

Brian is not just a "radio guy." He is also an extremely talented jazz pianist, songwriter, recording artist and producer with multiple solo projects to his credit. Brian is a sought after session player and studio musician and live player in the vibrant Atlanta contemporary jazz scene as well as across the country. He has shared the performance stage with artists like George Duke, David Sanborn, Stanley Clarke, Kirk Whalum, Jeff Kashiwa, Alex Bugnon and Gerald Albright, Najee and more.

Brian has seven CD's to his credit: His first release was entitled "THE NU FLAVA", his second CD was "TELL ME". His third release was a collaboration with Atlanta singer songwriter Pamela Best called "WORDS and MUSIC." Next, Brian produced a solo jazz project called "LOOKIN' FOR SOMETHING." His 5th project was called "Honey Grove Lane," written, produced and recorded in Knoxville at his home studio which is, of course, located on Honey Grove Lane. His next release was "GROOVE STORY" and features some of his best smooth jazz work to date. His latest release is called "This Is Me" and was release in the summer 2021.
